A musical World Tourism Day for the pink City with Darshan Raval

Bollywood singer Darshan Raval had the complete attention of Jaipur's music lovers who had come to attend Jaipur by Nite, an annual calendar event to promote art and culture, craft, heritage and tourism. The gala festival is jointly being organized by Confederation of Indian Industry, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India; Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and Young Indians.

In the lush green gardens of the City palace, a huge stage was set up where Raval belted out hit Bollywood numbers one after the other. Entertaining the crowd with his songs, Raval kept interacting with his young fans, who were dancing to the hilt. He sang songs like ‘Baarish’, Main rang sharbaton ka, ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha toh Aisa Laga’, ‘Kamariya’, ‘Tera Zikar’, ‘Pheli Mohabaat’ etc. and left the audience transfixed with this soulful voice. He even presented songs like ‘Chogada Tara’, and made youngsters dance.

Akanksha Sachdev, student of Rajasthan University said, “We need to have more such Bollywood nights. Darshan is such an extraordinary singer and I have been an ardent fan of his singing, since he was a contestant at a singing reality show.”
