A melange of inter-disciplinary arts at this event in Jaipur

, a city-based art furtherance house, the event showcased a slew of wondrous artists of Jaipur along with Bhopal based musician Samar Mehdi.

The event started with a showcase of fine and culinary arts. Visitors tried their hands at pottery under the guidance of potter Vidhant Jain at the live pottery-making station. Pastry chef Nidhi Verma added a tinge of sweetness with her handcrafted donuts, cakes, etc. Artist Sunita Joshi also exhibited her paintings at the do.

The evening started with a performance of qawwali by a young troupe. Dhatri Sharma, a grade nine student mesmerized the audiences with her soulful western melody. Spoken word artist Kunika Agarwal left people awe-struck with her piece of poetry. The event also staged Munshi Premchand’s play Sagdgati, performed by theatre artists of Jaipur.

Samar Mehdi performed his original compositions like Azaad, Safa along with evergreen songs like Ranjish hi Sahi, etc. yet the major highlight was his percussive fingerstyle renditions.
