Silent drama on seven sins

Seven deadly sins

of human life were presented in a wordless form of theatre at a play in the city. Directed by Nayan Raghuvanshi, artists from

Indore

’s various theatre groups were cast in this silent drama. The director used colors to depict the various sins like - green for

envy

, pink for

lust

, golden for

greed

and red for anger. The play had a story which moved forward only through fluid body and physical movements. Sound also played a catalyst in moving the story forward, and gave a clue to the audience about the kind of feeling portrayed through that sin. One of its kind theatre experiment got mixed response from audience, some of who were witnessing such a play for the first time.
