by the artistes of Anvarat Theatre Group. The play brings alive a scene from a typical Bundelkhand household where a widow aunt (Chachi) is trying to find a suitable match for her nephew (bhatija). Though, the play is comic and highlights funny incidences of a dedicated aunt trying to find out an alliance for her nephew, but the play also highlights the plight of widowhood. Once her quest to finding a Khuburat Basu ends in the play, it’s even funnier to see the country boys trying different hacks to catch one glimpse of the new Bahu. The promising acting of all the artistes wins the audiences’ hearts and keeps the attention rapt.
