Bolawa Vitthal brings a slice of Maharashtra's Waari to Indore

Celebrating the Hindu ‘Ashadhi Ekadashi’ with an evening of religious and folk music, a musical program ‘Bolawa Vitthal’ was organized at the

DAVV

auditorium at Khandwa road on Sunday. The event was a musical journey of devotion and meditation, similar to the ‘

Waari

’ or the process carried out every year in Maharashtra in which devotees walk with the footwear of Saint Gyaneshwar and Saint

Tukaram

’s on their heads.
