Around 25 members attended the meet and made some lip-smacking dishes like kharvas, masala bhaat,

thalipeeth

,

kothimbir wadi

,

shrikhand

,

tomato saar

and much more. All of them spent hours in the kitchen to bring out the perfect dish for the potluck, as per the groups' motto.

Members also twisted their dishes to give it their personal touch. For example, Palak Bhojwani made a parfait out of shrikhand, while Divya Kela made a tart out of

gulkand

. At the same time, Mariyam made a flaky pastry to cover karanjis and a lot more. It was a unique experience for everyone to cook Marathi dishes which was new to most of them. Most of the members had been trying out new dishes and cuisines during the period of lockdwon. This meetup gave them an opportunity to bring their acquired knowledge to fore.

Astha Mahajan and Amit Pamnani, founders of the club gave away prizes and certificates in different categories for their online competition which was held during Diwali. Everyone enjoyed the meet after being locked down in their homes for so many months. The meetups are a great way to keep their passion of cooking thriving, while learning of new things from each other.
