A vibe of Indian culture at DAVV’s convocation ceremony

The much-awaited

convocation

of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (

DAVV

) was held on March 30 where the

students

this year were seen taking degrees wearing Indian jackets and uttariya, instead of gowns and hats. Nearly 250 meritorious students of 2014-15 and 2015-16 batches were given gold and silver medals during the convocation. Besides, PhD students were awarded degrees. The ceremony was held after a gap of two years. Chancellor and

governor

of Madhya Pradesh Anandiben Patel also attended the ceremony and gave students some worldly advice while addressing the event. Students were seen taking the blessings of their faculties and taking selfies with each other post the event.
