In tune with charity

doweshowbellyad=0; Jagjit Singh. (TOI Photo)It was a night of enchanting music with ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh performing in the city of music lovers last weekend.
The venue was the grand Corinthians Club, and nobody could have missed attending such a great evening for the world. After the performance, where Jagjit Singh rendered some of his all-time classics and rounded it off with some Punjabi numbers; a party followed.
The ghazal genius was joined by his wife Chitra Singh and a lot of city VIPs showed up too. We spotted Anu Aga, Sunetra Pawar, Venkateshwara Rao, Deepak Shah, Ketan Thakkar, Dr Nitin Kareer and his wife, Dr Koppikar and A K Khanna. The dinner was hosted by Nitin Nyati. His wife Sulekha Nyati was also present. Tanuja and her daughters Kajol and Tanishaa also graced the evening with their presence. It surely was a great event, more so because it was a charity concert held for the benefit of cancer patients.
