Times Fresh Face: Young, fresh & talented, city students impress on Day 1 of digital auditions

With participation from over a hundred contestants from Hyderabad,

Season 13 was a huge success.

The participants, who showcased their talent in the virtual auditions, not just left the

judges

impressed with their performances, but proved that nothing, not even the pandemic, can deter their enthusiasm and spirit. Day 1 of the auditions had actor Chirag Jani and influencer-turned-actor

as the celebrity judges. The auditions began with a video message from Siddhant Chaturvedi, who won Fresh Face 12 and has often shared how Times Fresh Face has been an important platform that contributed to his success as an actor.

While some participants impressed judges with their singing and dancing, some left a mark on the judges with their acting skills, while some others took to beatboxing, playing the guitar and mimicry to make a lasting impression. “It was a new experience to be a part of the judges panel as I have always seen my peers in college taking part in the contest with so much zeal. As a judge, I saw some amazing talent and the contestants gave such power-packed performances even during online auditions. When I had just joined college, Times Fresh Face was a platform that students looked forward to with bated breath. It was something very exciting for freshers as it helped them explore their talent and discover their ‘X factor’,” said Heroshini.

Chirag Jani, who believes Hyderabadis are multi-talented was happy to see students delivering fantastic performances one after the other during online auditions. He said, “It was so much fun to be a part of Times Fresh Face this year. I am so happy to see students utilising their time during the pandemic to hone their skills.” The shortlisted contestants will compete at the city’s semi-finale soon.
