Early on Thursday, Manasa was in the mood to make some children happy. Dressed in a white and beige dress with her tiara on, she visited a children’s home in the city. Excited to have a real life ‘

princess

’ in their midst, the little girls at the home couldn’t help but look up to her in awe. But explaining that the crown she’s wearing is not something passed down and instead, won through hard work, Manasa narrated her journey to them as they looked on in admiration.


Not just that, Manasa even came bearing gifts for them! The little ones shared the names of their favourite films with her, cut a cake and even sang her a welcome song to make her feel at home. The

queen returned the favour by singing a few lines of a Carnatic song and serving them some delicious biryani, much to the little one’s delight. With huge grins on their faces and warmth in their hearts, the girls at the home posed for a few clicks with Manasa before waving her goodbye.

She returned back to the city on Wednesday after her win in Mumbai. The pageant queen received a warm welcome not just from her family and friends, but also from the bikers of Hyderabad, who formed a convoy and conducted a 5-KMs-long rally to welcome her home.
