This talent hunt was more than just music and masti

It was a time for the

Livon Times Fresh Face

Season 11 reached the college to scout the freshest face in the campus. Dressed in quirky costumes, sporting unique hairdos and backed by strenuous rehearsals, the participants put their best foot forward in a bid to win the contest. Hip-hop artiste, rapper and lyricist Meghraj Ravindra aka

Megh-U-Watt

was the celebrity judge at the do. The rapper also performed his unreleased single I am sorry accompanied by a guitarist and beatboxer to boost the contestants’ confidence. “It is always good to meet and interact with talented youngsters. I enjoyed being a part of this platform,” said Meghraj.

From mimicry, body building, acting to singing and dancing, the students left no stone unturned to show their talent and impress the judge. While a self-proclaimed die-hard fan of Akshay Kumar did the actor’s mimicry, another contestant did push-ups and flaunted his abs to loud cheers from the audience. Acting was among the favourite choices of the performers and a few blended humour to real-life situations and garnered inextinguishable laughter.

However, the music and dance performances garnered the maximum cheers from the gathering. The guitarists, singers, dancers of the college were at their best as they performed a series of popular Tollywood and Bollywood numbers. Mohini Tiwari, who performed last in the auditions, was adjudged the winner in the girls’ category, thanks to her expressive dance performance. Her opponents — Priyanka Singh and Sneha Bhatt, too gave the winner a good competition and were adjudged first and second runners-up respectively. There wasn’t much doubt who would take home the winner's trophy among the boys and when Roshan Bhujel’s name was
announced, the hall erupted with cheers and hoots.

The guitarist-cum-singer was the obvious choice thanks to his seamless performance where he sang a medley of popular numbers and enthralled the crowd and the judge. Fitness enthusiast Rajesh Seni and beatboxer Jayesh closely followed Roshan as the first and second runners-up, respectively.
