This ‘Rainbow Run’ was a lot of fun

Dozens of Hyderabadis hit the streets on Sunday morning to participate in a 5K ‘

Rainbow Run

’ to promote and spread awareness about the need for LGBTQI+

community

’s inclusion into the mainstream society.

The run was flagged off by former hockey player Syed Nadeemuddin from People’s Plaza at

Necklace Road

at 6 am .

“We are doing this to create awareness, promote equality and nurture the health and wellbeing of the LGBTQI+ community. This event is a boost for the upcoming Pride month in June,” said Sandipan Kusharya, one of the organisers.
