Slow fashion enthusiasts say sustainability is the new chic

Fashionistas, sustainable living enthusiasts and city socialites had an engaging time at a two-day event held at a Jubilee Hills hotspot as they came together to celebrate ‘slow fashion’.

The event saw a panel discussion on ethical and sustainable fashion. Holistic nutritionist Sridevi Jasti, designer Ganesh Nallari, fashion editor Nishat Fatima, academician and environmentalist Seetha Anand Vaidhyam, psychologist Dr Tina Fernandes and entrepreneur Sucharita were the key speakers for the day.

The insightful discussion on making sustainable and ethical fashion choices kept the guests engrossed. City-based designer Zubin Vakil was spotted at the event. Guests were treated to a high tea, post the discussion. Day 2 of the collective saw patrons dropping in to check out all things sustainable.
