Showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Telangana through dance

The valedictory function of World Telugu Conference held at LB Stadium on Tuesday evening witnessed a spellbinding dance ballet conceptualised, choreographed and directed by Deepika Reddy. The production with 200 dancers encompassed the tourist destinations and pilgrim centres of the city and the state and renowned poets of Telangana — Pothana and Vagyeyakara Ramadasu, and brought alive episodes depicting the advent of Narasimha to annihilate Hiranyakashipu on stage.Unmindful of chilling winter breeze, the audience savoured Deepika’s dance ballet who was at her choreographic best, ably assisted by her disciples.
