Rich heritage of Telugu states came alive at this colourful Sankranthi extravaganza
Shilpakala Vedika echoed with the strains of
classical music
and the rhythmic jingles of ghungroos at this grand Sankranthi Sambaralu event held recently.The duo were seen enjoying the lively performances put up by the folk artistes. Dressed in vibrant traditional attires, the dancers performed to various Telugu folk songs and narrated tales of the colourful rural culture of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Speaking on the occasion, Naidu shared how festivals like Sankranthi were occasions to rekindle people’s association with nature and its relationship with Indian culture. Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister of Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy, Governor of Telangana,
