Raashi Khanna turns a year older in retro style

Actor Raashi Khanna recently rang in her birthday with a retro-themed party for her near and dear ones at a hotspot in the city. Raising a toast to the 1980s and 90s era, the décor featured a lot of retro props that included an antique rotary dial phone, a vintage television set, some old-fashioned cassettes, and so on.

The birthday cake too was designed like a disco ball and the guests were served cupcakes that were modelled after popular actresses of the era.

Raashi, who looked stunning in an off shoulder white polka-dot dress, played the perfect host as many big names from Tollywood dropped by to wish the birthday girl.

Retro numbers from Bollywood and Hollywood created the perfect ambience as guests participated in some indoor games with utmost enthusiasm. “I was very particular about every element used in the décor.

I wanted to have all the things that I liked as a kid as props. I wore a polka-dot dress for the evening as I believe I am still an old-school girl at heart. It was kind of a time-travel for me. I enjoyed the bash to the fullest and my friends made sure I didn’t miss home in Delhi at all,” said Raashi.
