In a show of support and solidarity, the city’s LGBTQIA+ allies and community came together in a rainbow of celebrations on Sunday at the Phoenix Arena to commemorate the fourth edition of Queer Fiesta. Amidst the bustling flea stalls and pulsating DJ beats, the event showcased poetry, music, and electrifying dance performances. LGBTQIA+ rights advocates and activists from the city were recognised for their work including Supriyo Chakraborty, Oruganti Sneha, Mukunda Mala, Prem Leela, and Akhilesh Rajputh, and were felicitated. Organised by Mobbera Foundation, the event provided a safe space for the community to express themselves, with individuals, couples, and allies in attendance.

This event was a powerful reminder that diversity enriches our communities, and every individual deserves to live authentically and with pride. Let us commit ourselves to advancing equality, acceptance, and respect for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
