', was returning home from a party and was caught by traffic cops at a drunken driving checkpoint. “At 1:30 am on Sunday, we caught actor Prince at one of our checkpoints at Bachupally crossroads. Around 42 mg BAC (Blood Alcohol Content) was detected, which is above permissible limits. We booked a case against him under Sec 185 of IPC. The actor was later taken to for counselling and was then produced before Kukatpally court on Tuesday. Since it was his first offense and the alcohol intake was not too high, he was let off with a fine,” said N Bose Kiran, inspector, Kukatpally traffic police.

Traffic cops revealed that the actor admitted to them that he was driving under the influence of alcohol and agreed to cooperate with them. “Although he was cooperative, the law is the same for all. Just because he’s a celebrity, we can’t let him go. No matter who the accused is, we do our duty,” Bose Kiran added.
