Passion Play at St. Joseph’s Cathedral draws over 500 spectators

The Passion Play, a dramatic presentation of the Passion of Jesus Christ depicting his trial, suffering and crucifixion, was staged in the premises of St. Joseph’s Cathedral, Basheer Bagh in the city on the occasion of Good Friday. Over 500 people from all strata of the society gathered at the venue early in the morning to witness the staging that evoked the feeling of piety among the devout. The Church made elaborate arrangements for special prayer services throughout the day.
