P3Ps pay tribute to iconic Indian women to mark I-Day

To mark India’s 72nd Independence Day, members of a city’s ladies club paid an ode to the

iconic women

of India by dressing up as them.

Titled ‘Bharat Ke Noor’, the event saw the ladies donning attires resembling a host of powerful Indian women such as

Jhansi Ki Rani

,

Kalpana Chawla

and Padmavati, among others.

Patriotism was running high as they took to a podium to enact a few scenes as well. International storyteller Deepa Kiran was felicitated at the do before they bonded over high tea.
