‘Overwhelmed to get my very own wax statue’

Kajal Aggarwal joined an elite group of Indian celebrities to have their own wax figurines at the iconic Madame Tussauds museum. The actress took to her to social
media page on Tuesday to announce that she would have her own wax statue at Madame Tussauds Singapore. Speaking to Hyderabad Times, an excited Kajal says she feels overwhelmed to be the first south Indian actress to have her own wax statue.“I’m extremely happy and feel overwhelmed with gratitude,” she shares, adding, “I remember going to Madame Tussauds as a child and being so fascinated with all the figures of stars who I’ve always admired and been in love with. It feels surreal to be amongst them myself.” The Awe star says the statue feels like a reward for all the hard work she’s put in through the years. “What a great way to start the new decade,” she says, adding, “When I look at this achievement, all the crazy hours of hard work that I put in and all the sacrifices that I made over the years seem worth it. I dedicate it to all the fans who have backed me throughout.”
