‘Nuvvu Thopu Raa is like a common man’s biopic’

holds the distinction of being the first Telugu film to be shot in this traveller’s paradise. “We shot for 53 days in surreal locations carefully handpicked by my crew member, Edmund Rose, who is a resident of Utah. For the first time locations like Moab and Salt Lake will be shown in a Telugu film. We are grateful to the Telugu Association of Utah and the American citizens involved in the shoot, the audience are in for a visual treat,” proclaims Dr James Watt, and NRI. Srikanth Daduvai nods in agreement and goes on to add that film has a novel story line as well. “Nuvvu Thopu Raa is a new-age story. It’s almost like a biopic made on a common man that everyone can relate to. The relationship between the mother, played by Nirosha and Sudhakar Komakula’s character, Suri, will be the USP of the film, apart from the story of a common man fighting for what he wants in life.” Elaborating on the film’s story, director Harinath says, “Suri is a man with no goal in life, raised by
a single mother with whom he shares a troubled relationship. Unlike regular masala films, things don’t change when the heroine, Nithya Shetty’s character comes into his life. But unforeseen circumstances see him land up in Utah, where certain incidents lead him to learn the value of people in his life.”
