The inauguration of a group art exhibition featuring works of 28 artists drew the city’s art connoisseurs and admirers to ICCR Art Gallery in Saifabad recently.
Titled ‘Colour Spectra — 2’, the show featured both national and international artists out of which 17 were local talents.
The paintings dealt with an array of subjects ranging from Indian rural life, abstraction to traditional Mysore-style of paintings among others.
“I don’t like to focus on any particular theme while curating my shows. I believe in bringing the diversity of artwork together under one roof and this exhibition is no different,” said Amrita Prakash, the curator.
