Medical field witnesses 7% new knowledge every month, anyone not keeping abreast will be out of place: Prof BM Hegde
The 2nd batch of medical graduates (batch of 2013) from The Apollo Medical College passed out and received their degrees at a glittering convocation ceremony on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion Prof. BM Hegde said, "Today you accomplished your dream of becoming a doctor. As a doctor you are a role model to the society and to maintain that stature you need to have an impeccable character, be kind to your patients and well equipped to handle the toughest of the situation. Being a doctor is a great responsibility, a good doctor is a good human being first and that is what can win the confidence of the patient, which is what also gets you the respect from the patient and the society on the whole.
