The royal affair saw the movers and shakers of the city turn up to bless the couple and it was nothing short of a spectacle. The newly-weds, who said ‘qubool hain’ in front of over 40,000 guests , looked radiant in their traditional Hyderabadi finery.
While the bride looked like a vision in a red khada dupatta, the groom looked dapper in a designer sancha sherwani with floral prints which he paired with matching jootis and shamla pagdi. The décor of the venue was a sight to behold. Keeping white as the basic theme, stunning floral decorations jazzed up the setting.
“The wedding celebrations began a week ago. It was a wedding every couple dreams of having,” said Qutub Alam Khan, the brother of the groom.
Apart from the wedding rituals, the highlight of the evening was the luscious spread laid out for the guests that included traditional Hyderabadi delicacies, signature Kashmiri dishes and Turkish and Lebanese fare.
