Kshetram on Monday.

Titled ‘Hara’, the show celebrated Maha Shivaratri. It began with a traditional invocation of ‘Vinakaya Strotram’ and transitioned with various eclectic dance ovements along with the music. The dance was accompanied by a live

where powerful vocals and musical instruments were in perfect synergy with Parshwanath’s dance.
“The dance sequence is woven around the evergreen story of Lord Shiva and Sati and their unmatched love for each other, their separation and reunion in the form of Parvati,” said Parshwanath.

Essentially a choreographic work, the performance used the Natya Dharma of Bharanatyam where dancers assumed different roles. Gudi Sambaralu is a cultural initiative where reputed dancers and musicians from across India come down to Telangana and perform in temples.

“It is a blessing to perform on this majestic temple stage as part of the Maha Shivra on the eve of Gudi Sambaralu Maha Shivratri celebrations amidst chants and temple bells,” Parshwanath expressed after his show.
