City’s amateur artistes brought down the house at this open mic night

It was a night dedicated to the local talents of the city as a host of amateur performers took to the stage at an open mic session held at an artsy cafe in

Banjara Hills

recently. While many were performing on a stage for the first time, they left no stone unturned to impress the gathering.

storytelling and stand-up comedy, there was something in the event for everyone.

“This is the first time that I performed on a stage. I was extremely nervous but excited at the same time. I feel events such as these are a great platform for amateurs to showcase their talent,” said Awnish, who mesmerised the audience with his vocals. For storyteller Pranav, who narrated a gripping tale of a soldier, the response of the audience was highly encouraging. “I love telling stories but it’s even more exciting when people get involved in it. More than a monologue, it felt like an

of thoughts, which made it highly enjoyable,” he said.
