On Thursday morning, Ravindra Bharathi reverberated with the sounds of laughter and music as over 1000 kids from across the city came to celebrate Children’s Day.
Several kids from multiple government schools and orphanages took to the stage and delivered a host of performances displaying the cultural heritage of
Telangana.
Dances and skits both were met with equally huge rounds of applause as the audience were delighted to see the tiny tots perform with passion.
Many issues plaguing children today were at the forefront of some of the performances.
Throwing light on child abuse and child marriage, the celebration aimed to educate children on various issues. The kids were also informed about a 24x7 helpline for children, that they can contact in case of any emergencies.
