The last edition of the Bikers Night for the year was a thumping ride, with the best of rock and the coming together of the bikers from across clubs, and some even riding to town to catch the gig from across the country. The Tuesday gig saw participation of India Bull Riders, Ironheads, Wind Chasers, Hyderabad Royals, Wolfe Pack — and each of them were treated to a specially dedicated song by the Papa Wolfe aka DJ BlackJack.
But, the cult vagabond song — Metallica’s Wherever I Roam, went out to CS Prasanjit of Wolfe Pack, Mumbai Chapter, who has been on a ride that began in Mumbai since September 1. When he heard about the year’s last Bikers Night in Hyderabad, he was in Kolkata. Accompanied by another biker Jagdeep Mishra, he rode from Kolkata to Vizag and then arrived in Hyderabad — all in a span of two days. His ride was greeted with cheers and then came the pat on the back from veteran rider Kaleem, who today 69 has gone on many of these rides.
The moment that really put the spotlight on the community spirit among bikers was the observance of a minute of silence for the dearly departed riders — KB Don of Wolfe Pack and Mihir Chadha of KOGS.
