A treat for classical dance connoisseurs in the city

Rabindra Bharathi recently reverberated with rhythmic footsteps set to Carnatic music as dancer Ruthvika Nalamalapu, disciple of acclaimed Kuchipudi
dancer, Deepika Reddy performed at her rangapravesam.

Rangapravesam marks the transformation of a dancer from a student to a performer. On the occasion, Ruthvika performed 5 pieces.

Four of the five were choreographed by her guru Deepika Reddy while one was choreographed by Dr Vempati Chinna Satyam.

The performance was accompanied by musicians and vocalists and even Deepika Reddy herself played the nattuvangam. Distinguished guests like Mamidi Karikrishna were seen enjoying the performance.
