A toast to art

The preview of K G Subramanyam's recent works who has taken modern art to a new plane, had art lovers and art connoisseurs of the city come together at Kalakriti Art Gallery.
Artists like, Laxma Goud, Vaikuntam, Surya Prakash were present the inauguration of the exhibition which mostly comprised reverse paintings of Subramanyam. Gouachea on hand-made paper which had artworks of Godesses in various hues and forms and reverse painting on acrylic sheet are on display.Naveen Kishore who conceived the show said that this traveling show is being organised as part of Subramanyam's 85th birthday celebrations.
Amlan Tripathy, Laxmi Rao, Ranga Prasad, M N Reddy, Siddharth Sanghi, Shruti Malpani, Kavita Subba and many others known for their love of art, managed to make it to the exhibition despite the unexpected and heavy showers!
