Sunday night was a night of festive revelry complete with bhangra, Punjabi folk songs and lip-smacking delicacies. The Lohri party that AP Punjabi Sabha’s ladies wing, Fulkari, organized at a family club in Begumpet, was a joyous affair. The city’s Punjabi community flocked to the venue and had a blast with friends. Singer Kaptan Ladhi, who was flown down from the capital, enthralled the audiences with Punjabi folksy numbers and the chief guest, Dr J Geeta Reddy, graced the bash with her husband Ramachandra Reddy.
The place was done up on the lines of rustic Punjabi villages and dignitaries Tejdeep Kaur Menon and Parneet Sachdev had a blast indulging in some bhangra.
