A fun audition full of monologues, music, masti and more

The Livon Hyderabad Times Fresh Face Season 11 auditions at Scient Institute of Technology, Ibrahimpatnam was an exhilarating affair. Initially, most of the participants were reluctant to enroll their names for the talent hunt, but seeing a few of their peers’ enthusiasm, the number of entries swelled in no time.

The college had strict rules against performances on

Bollywood

numbers following which a few participants had to end their acts midway. But that didn’t deter the enthusiasm of the participants and they showcased their dancing skills on popular Telugu and English songs such as Swing Zara and

Despacito

.

Students garnered huge cheers from the crowd with their performances of monologues by popular Tollywood actors such as Pawan Kalyan and Dhanush from movies such as

Attarintiki Daredi

and Raghuvaran BTech, respectively.

Fashion choreographer and beauty pageant winner, Nilofer Haidry was the celebrity judge at the do. Before the auditions began, Nilofer apprised the participants about the rules of the talent hunt and gave a small pep talk encouraging them to give their best.

A well-choreographed duet dance performance on the songs Apdi Pode and Ravoyi Chandamama with batch mate Akash won Shruti, a first year student of B Tech, the top honours in the girls’ category. She was given some stiff competition by K Sirisha Reddy and G Madhuri, but at the end they had to be content with being the first and second runners-up respectively.

N Suraj Kashyap, another first year BTech student, was adjudged as winner in the boys’ category for his bold moves on Despacito and was followed by Shiva and Akash in the second and third place.

Nandini was declared ‘Livon Miss Fab Hair’ for her silky tresses and Abhishek was adjudged as ‘Set Wet Mr Charming’.
