A cultural kaleidoscope from Kerala

So what if you can’t go to Kerala for a break? If the travel gods relent, Kerala will come right here, to Hyderabad. That’s just what happened on Tuesday, when a cultural kaleidoscope from God’s Own Country was presented to a discerning audience in Hyderabad. Showcasing various traditional dance forms from the state, a slew of performers from Kerala’s Kathakali School Society, presented an eclectic set, that commenced with an engaging Mohiniyattam performance, followed by Kathakali, Kalaripayattu, Mayura Nruthyam and Theyyam.The highlight of the event was a fusion of all the dance forms that garnered a roaring applause from the audience.
