Students get a taste of the world of media

The Departments of Mass Communication and Journalism of St Xavier’s College, Mapusa, recently organised the competition MediaScope 5.0 , that saw 14 higher secondary schools across Goa battle it out for the top prize in several competitions, ranging from Mad Ad to quiz and dance contests.

, was the chief guest for the event, that also saw rangoli, photography, and an Amazing Race-style competitions. Ramacrisna Madeva Salgaocar Higher Secondary School, Margao, was the all round winner.
The purpose of the event was to introduce the students to the world of media and give them an exposure to how the media world works.
