Students educated on road safety
During the ongoing Road Safety Week 2019, officers from the Verna Polivce Station spent time with the children from Government Primary School in Verna educating them on road safety.
Police
officer Suhas Patekar, Alisha Naik and Babaji Matkar spoke to the children on the importance of riding their bicycles safely and also the importance of safety aspects whilst travelling with adults on motorcycles and in cars. This was another initiative by the Crocs and Cops Community Policing Unit that conducts regular community outreach programmes.end of article
