Special cancellation stamp released by occasion of 'Wildlife Week 2020'

Goa Postal Division released a picture Postcards on Avian Diversity of Goa (Series-II) Endemic Birds of Goa on the occasion of 'Wildlife Week 2020' and Special Cancellation with slogan 'to fight COVID-19, strengthen your immunity' on October 5,2020, at Tapal Bhavan, Panaji. The picture post cards and special cancellation were unveiled by Dr N Vinodkumar, Postmaster General, Goa region, Panaji, Sudhir Jakhere, Sr Superintendent of Post Office, Goa division said that these birds are important to keep the ecosystem healthy.“We have been working towards creating awareness about COVID-19 and helping our citizens to get benefits from the campaigns.”
The pack of picture post cards will be available in two different packets - plain pack and the cancelled pack which consists of 10 picture post cards each.
