Manoj Bajpayee adds star power to Porvorim’s NoMoZo

Porvorim came alive on Sunday as the seventh edition of NoMoZo transformed a busy street into a vibrant festival hub. People of all ages gathered to celebrate wellness, music, art, culture and creativity, with actor Manoj Bajpayee adding star appeal.

Over 100 stalls and themed zones offered something for everyone. The Heritage Zone highlighted Goa’s cultural roots through traditional performances and local crafts, while the IT and Science Zone impressed with drone demos, 3D printing and interactive exhibits. Pet lovers thronged the pet zone, sports fans cheered Goan boxers and martial artists, and food stalls delighted visitors while supporting local entrepreneurs. Key organiser Ninil D’Souza said, “Earlier, people came to see what NoMoZo was about. Today, they come because they believe in it,” adding that sustainability, reduced plastic use and responsible waste practices remain central to the event. — Kimberly Colaco
