Khell competitions organised selected its winners

Tiatr Academy of Goa

organised its 10th

Competition

of Fells/Khells (Zomnivoile Khell) on February 20, to 22, which was held at

Kala Academy

’s Open Air Amphi – theatre,

Panaji

.

All together eight troupes participated in this competition. This competition received a good response from the tiatr lovers.



The Khells which bagged

prizes

at this three-day competition are as follows:-

1st Prize – “Timepass” by Jose Roaman Fernandes

2nd Prize – “Tumche Upkar” by Luis Xavier Mascarenhas (Xavier de Maina)

3rd Prize – “Raza Rani Gulam” Caitano F Fernandes (Caje de Curtorim)

Veterans from the tiatr fraternity Osvi SCL Viegas and Michael Silva were the judges for the competition.

On the last day, tiatrists Lawry Travasso, was the chief guest and Pravin Barad, member secretary, Kala Academy was the guest of honour for the function.

The judges and the guest gave away the prizes and certificates to the winners.
