I've made a lot of local friends here in Goa, says actress Iti Acharya

Actress Iti Acharya who work in mainly South Indian film industry was in Goa and she tells us how she loves the warmth and hospitality of the state. "I want to explore a lot of things here in Goa. I wanted local talent to get promoted, so my outfits and makeup for IFFI was done by locals fashion designers and artistes. I have plans and projects which I want to work with locally, which will include a film in lines of a social-drama and fashion documentary. I have been connecting with youngsters who are into fashion designing in Goa. I'm just thrilled and excited. I'm going home with a lot of good memories."

Being a vegetarian, Iti always thought that it would be hard to find vegetarian cuisine in Goa, until, "because of my local connections here, I have eaten some amazing food. I'm a big fan of chaat and some people have told me to try the chaat here. I have been in touch with a lot of locals who have promised to take me to their homes for meals. So I'm looking forward to eat some authentic Goan cuisine food with my new found Goan friends," smiles Iti.
