TV actor Yesha Rughani who is currently seen as Zara in the show Hero Gayab Mode On has taken a few days off from her busy schedule and has been chilling in
South Goa. Enjoying some me time, Yesha tells us, “Coming to Goa is like a ritual, its either with my family, cousins or solo. This time it was a solo trip. Since I shoot on most days – the moment I get to know I’ll not be needed, I book my tickets to Goa.
I feel safe travelling here.”
PERFECT PLACE TO UNWIND
Her idea of a perfect holiday involves chilling at the beach. “For the last few days, I’ve gorged on good food, sitting at the beach, sipping on my cocktail and reading The 12 Commandments of Being a Woman by Tahira Kashyap Khurrana. The reason I prefer Goa is, it’s the shortest trip from Mumbai, the people are kind and generous and it always gives me a good vibe.”
She says that people here are so cordial, that during her stay she ended up playing volleyball with the locals on the beach. “I was at a café and the staff along with the locals were playing volleyball and they invited me to play with them. I realised how accommodating Goans are,” says Yesha.
‘I used to come here with Dad’
Yesha recollects her favourite memory of spending time with her father on Goan beaches. “As a child I remember him taking me to the beach here. I used to love making sand castles. We have a few pictures clicked of me and dad on one of the beaches of Goa. After many years, I came to Goa and visited a beach, somehow, I felt that I had visited the beach before. My friends laughed at me and said, ‘Goa mein sab beaches ek dikhta hai.’ And then I found out it was Vagator and it was the same beach my father took me to,” laments Yesha.
