Honing leadership skills at St Xavier's Institute, Curtorim

The new academic year at St Xavier's Institute, Curtorim commenced with the much-awaited Student's Council Inaugural Programme which was held on July 1, 2023. The programme was attended by students, teachers and parents. The melodious tunes of the school band reverberated through the hall as the newly elected council
marched in bearing the school flag as well as house flags that flew high.The council was led by the school Headboy Roshan Chichabai and Headgirl Pratiksha Yadav. Taking on their new roles were also the newly appointed school ministers, house captains and class monitors.
The dignitaries led the council in taking the solemn oath and pinned the batches onto the leaders. A cultural programme followed which was filled with enthralling dance and song performances by the talented students of the institution. The programme was compered by Rachel Coelho do Amaral and the coordinator for the programme was Atmanand Pednekar, who with the assistance of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school made the event a memorable one.
The programme ended with the National Anthem.
