Goan film Wagro wins seven awards at a 60 hr film making challenge

, has won seven awards at the 60 hours filmmaking challenge organised by Ravindra Bhavan Margao and the

Department of Information

and publicity, Government of Goa.

The short film won Best film, Sainath Uskaikar for Best director,

Shravan Fondekar

for Best Actor Male,

Sobita Kudtarkar

for Best Actor Female, Sainath Uskaikar for Best screenplay, Venkatesh

Lagji

and Abhishek Kadam for Best sound design and

Amey Simepurushkar

for best Cinematography. In the acceptance speech, the director dedicated the short film to all inter-caste marriages and relationships.

The competition was held from December 24 to 27, and the prize distribution ceremony was held on December 30. Goan director Rajendra Talak was the chief guest.
