Goa celebrates the king of mangoes

It’s mango season and the first edition of the Mankurad Mango Festival unfolded in Campal on May 6.
Organised by Transform Goa, this was a day dedicated to mangoes and all the mango-lovers, who got to shop for, and taste, some juicy homegrown mankurad mangoes.
The festival also had stalls serving mango with vanilla ice cream, besides mango-based pickles, preserves and desserts.
