College freshers get a grand welcome

Music, dance and camaraderie — the fresher's after party of Dhempe College of Arts and Science saw an interesting mix of freshers, seniors and other youngsters having a gala time at Brown Town Regal at Candolim. The party curated by second year BA student Joston Cardoz and supported by Daniel Lobo saw DJs AK47, Dropon, Sid, TWD and others getting the crowd groovy.“It was a great experience for the students.The crowd was great. Usually the freshers only have a day party. This year we thought of doing something special and curated this event. Other colleges in Goa would have such events, so I thought it was a good idea to plan one for us and it went well,” says Joston.
First year BA student who went to the party with his friends says, “For me, being a fresher, it was a wonderful moment. We received a great welcome, and even a freshers party which was great. We had a blast dancing to our hearts content. It was indeed memorable and adds a beautiful page to our collection of college memories.”
