The session commenced with welcoming the chief guest and other dignitaries on the dais.Manager Fr Joaquim Lobo encouraged the students to develop skills in the areas of media that they are interested in. ‘Cinematic Panjim’, a video made by FY student Francis Quadros successfully captured everyone’s attention. Later a monologue was performed by FY student Shripad Kurtarkar which kept the audience entertained.

Pokle spoke on the topic, ‘Challenges faced by Goan actors in the field of acting.’ He said that people these days are away from their own roots and there is less appreciation of Konkani films. He added that Goans should take out time to watch and appreciate Konkani cinema. ” It’s something we should take pride in and respect it,” he said. He shared a few tips for the young artistes present in the audiences who hope to pursue a career in acting. On this occasion gave a monologue performance. Gunjal Patel from FY proposed the vote of thanks. Pranali Mantri, film club secretary compeered the program.
