An eclectic musical performance in Vagator

Thursday saw a special performance by Shine, an Italian duo comprising of pianist, composer and producer Kekko Fornarelli and vocalist Roberto Cherillo at Hideaway, a performance venue and bar in Vagator. Through their ninety minute set, Shine filled up the venue with their soundscapes that ranged from pure solo jazz piano to electronica, passing through northern European influences, British trip-hop and Orient remembrances.
Roberto Cherillo's voice and Kekko Fornarelli's piano, combined with electronics and samples, harmonized and supported each other, amalgamating themselves to the distortions created by the synths and created an aural experience like no other for the listeners present. The duo who are on their global tour, had stops in Delhi, Bombay and Goa as part of their India leg of the tour. The artists were managed by Gatecrash and the event was produced by Songs From The Attic, a property known for creating unique live music experiences for audiences.
