A webinar held to understand what is sexual abuse

Goa Rainbow Trust conducted a webinar on the topic 'Sexual Abuse: Impact on Silent Victims' on March 20. The aim was to help participants understand what sexual abuse is, what is consent and what is it's impact on those victims who choose to remain silent due to multiple factors.
The guest speaker Lareina D'Souza who is a Psychologist and Counselor by profession led the session in a very interactive manner, having the participants discuss every point that was covered.One of the focal points was the LGBTQIA+ Community, whose members often find themselves in the shoes of silent victims.
