A cleanup drive in Chinchinim this World Environment Day
This massive clean-up drive at Chinchinim, organised by the village panchayat of Chinchinim-Deusua and the RiseNationArmy, saw children from St Mary of Angels School, Mount Mary School and Mount Mary Higher Secondary School teach grown-ups a thing or two about waste management.
“We cleaned the areas around the market area and the church, besides the gutters in front of the shop and the playground,” said Solonche Pereira, a class 8th from St Mary of Angels School.
