As the global travel industry prepares for ITB Berlin 2026, the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, is gearing up to make a strong international impression from March 3 to 5, 2026, at the Berlin ExpoCenter City.
Goa Tourism will host a series of structured business meetings and networking sessions with global tour operators, travel buyers, airline partners, and industry leaders, showcasing the State’s evolving tourism landscape and regenerative travel initiatives.
Recognised as one of the world’s most influential travel trade exhibitions, ITB Berlin gathers tourism boards, airlines, hospitality brands, and travel innovators from across the globe. Goa’s continued participation underscores its focus on strengthening international collaborations, expanding its reach in key markets, and positioning itself as a vibrant, year-round destination.
Throughout the three-day event, the Goa delegation will engage in B2B meetings with industry stakeholders and media representatives to explore new partnerships, discuss market trends, and align Goa’s offerings with global traveller preferences.
The pavilion will highlight the State’s wide-ranging tourism experiences — from heritage and cultural circuits to wellness and yoga retreats, adventure activities, river cruises, and curated monsoon trails. Visitors will also discover Goa’s evolving culinary and hinterland experiences, designed to encourage meaningful travel and longer stays.
Central to the showcase will be Goa’s Regenerative Tourism framework — a forward-looking approach that integrates sustainability, community participation, heritage preservation, and environmental care. Tourism Minister Rohan A. Khaunte said, “Our participation at ITB Berlin 2026 reflects Goa’s commitment to engaging with the global tourism community in a strategic and sustained manner. We aim to present the depth and diversity of Goa’s offerings while building meaningful partnerships that enhance visibility, attract quality tourism, and drive inclusive growth.” Director of Tourism Kedar Naik added, “The focus this year is on quality tourism and long-term collaborations with global partners. Our participation reinforces Goa’s identity as a destination that offers authenticity, diversity, and responsible travel experiences.”
